How to Make Korean Coffee - Haenbog Style.

Get an afternoon kick with this traditional South Korean coffee. Simple and strong with a fruity twist, it certainly does the job. Give it a try, see if you like it. It's super simple to make.

Equipment Needed:

  • Something that boils water.

  • A cup.

  • A spoon.


  • A tip of a tea spoon of persimmon fruit juice (or a tiny piece of the fruit itself).

  • 1 small finger tip pinch of finely ground aniseed powder.

To Do:

  1. Place Soju and fruit (juice) into cup or mug.

  2. Add coffee.

  3. Slow pour freshly boiled water and stir while pouring.

All Done.
